Thermal imaging of Charcot neuroarthropathy

A new article in the journal Duodecim presents a case in which a woman with type 1 diabetes developed ankle symptoms without trauma.

After magnetic resonance imaging, suspicion of Charcot’s foot arose and a thermal scan revealed a temperature difference of up to 5°C between the right and left ankle.
