TherMidas Oy has been re-assessed and re-certified as meeting the requirements of EN ISO 13485 for design and manufacturing of infrared imaging systems for medical purposes. The certificate will allow TherMidas to continue the design and manufacture of its novel infrared imaging solutions. The certificate is valid until June 17th, 2024.
At the same time TherMidas Oy was assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of Directive 93/42/EEC on Medical Devices (MDD) covering infrared imaging device products for medical diagnostic purposes. The certificate allows TherMidas to launch its MED Imager Software version 1.3. and to use all of its products together with FLIR, Inc.’s E- and T-series handheld infrared cameras. The certificate is valid until August 23rd, 2024.
